Feeling Stuck

Feeling stuck, whether it’s in work or life circumstances, can make you feel helpless, frustrated, miserable, angry, and many other emotions.  I feel stuck right now and it is an empty, desperate, and lonely feeling. I don’t feel like anybody understands.

  1. I understand and am so happy that you found my blog (Alyssa in the City: My Third of Life Crisis,) because boy do I relate to yours! I too read “The Happiness Project” early on in my “transition” and had nearly identical feelings about my career (and Facebook for that matter!). Just know that there are millions of women (and likely men, too) feeling the same way you are– you’re absolutely not alone. Last thing: If you have a dream, go for it. I started a silly small business last year and if nothing else, it teaches you that you can!

  2. Thank you for your comment, Alyssa 🙂 Congrats on taking a leap and starting your own business! I have dreams of starting a business but I don’t even know what it would be… Kind of important detail;)

And I am long overdue for an update. I’m still doing the same work, but have met with a career counselor so I need to write about that.
